Mario-Combat
Rated 4 / 5 stars December 9, 2008
it was like a beautiful Power Star prologue
it was alot of fun honestly, and I was worried because of all the glitches from the Power Star 2 demo
a few glitches are still here, like sound effects. I loaded the game 7x and the sound is still off
and in the third room my head bounced on the roof when I tried to enter the pipe, and when you look to your left the ceiling isn't finished
combat is abit clunky but it's like classic arcade fighting which is fun
what I did miss from the Power Star series are the grabs. if there is a grab move, it's gotta be pretty complex because I'm pretty sure I tried every direction with A
but still, the music was great, and the sound effects are right out of Power Star. I'm glad that it's not bloody otherwise I wouldn't have been about to see my screen from kicking so much ass
it captured the concept of Power Star against Bowser and his minions pretty well
I even got to use the wall jump lava save a couple times (even though lava doesn't kill)
would have liked some bonuses like unlocking the sword or the bullet bill shot from ep 2
oh well
it was still amazing

Doom Triple Pack
Rated 4.5 / 5 stars December 1, 2008
hard to believe but it's true
it's Doom back from the grave
THE game
the only thing it's missing is sound effects
(if you want music, you're playing on a comp, put on your own **** music)
it's free, it's a flash game, what more could you want

Power Star game (Demo)
Rated 1.5 / 5 stars October 2, 2008
way too many glitches
I understand this is a demo, but the fighting was glitched, the enemies can fly through the walls, the first door doesnt work, AND there's a typo in the first sentence man! I mean, demos get polished before you play them. loved the graphics though, and since I loved powerstar it had replay
Demo just means a piece of,
but this was a piece of crap

FFIV battle

back to basics
the replication is flawless. the only problem I had, and maybe it was my headphones, but the background was too strong and the notes didnt carry. but thats headphones, just stero or anything else, it was brilliant, and thats how it gets its grade. it was made for games, it should be played with game quality
perfect

FFVIII-Laguna's Battle
Rated 5 / 5 stars September 20, 2008
a masterpiece
the opening was very strong, starting off slow and then the beat just ididnt stop, it keeps hitting with ever better precision than ff8 could have hoped for. it's three minutes long but I never wanted it to end. it was addictive, and the loop for restarting the song just seemed to work perfectly, my ears just never really noticed it fade out and back in. all that happened in my mind was me being blown away
beyond fantastic

FFX Battle Theme
Rated 4.5 / 5 stars September 20, 2008
nostalgia
as a remix, it keeps the quality of the original very well, but off every now and then. it loops well enough that I enjoy hearing the opening each time, but still, it feels as if theres either alittle too much or alittle too little of the background snapping (dont know the musical term, just going by ear)
alittle off, but still great

I'd wake up at 4am to watch this if it was real
I'm not going out on a limb to say this was one of the greatest flashes I've seen in a while. The animation outclassed most modern cartoons, the lyrics were more thought out than any anime, and the jokes was predominately the entire opening. It was so good I even downloaded the song
excellent and then some. they don't make numbers high enough

that explains it
once again, parody king egoraptor returns, this time with the theme on anime, so if you don't understand what makes anime funny, don't watch, and don't bitch
the animation is terrible on purpose, and the art is beautiful, yet keeps the awesome series style. it's kinda long, but if you start laughing, you'll keep laughing
that exlains EVERYTHING

if this reviewer was gay
the voice over work was good, but that they said Rod and Nikki could go either way as being an up or a down. like you could think of Rod and Nikki as nicknames from the song instead of them actually saying Roy and Marth, but eh, I would have liked a little deviation from the lyrics, even if it was just a name change
but the animation was cute and fit the fruity mood, so kudos, I think it worked out really well
